Packaging & fill level concernsUpdated 7 days ago

We recently trialled some new packaging options, so you may some variance between the fill levels across our superfood blends.

We understand why this might be concerning to the eye! But rest assured, you will always receive the correct amount of powder in grams (as stated on the website and packaging).

Every single tube is filled & weighed to ensure we comply with the Weights & Measures Regulations 2006 for packaged goods. You will find a small "e" logo displayed next to the weight on the tube - this is a declaration that the contents inside will always be equal to, or more than, the weight displayed. Our weighing equipment is also audited frequently which involves regular testing to ensure 100% accuracy.

We have since settled on a standardised tube design for all of our blends, but we are still working through some of the previous stock to avoid unnecessary waste. In the meantime please see further information below which we hope you will find helpful & reassuring.

Why does my product appear to have a false bottom/raised bottom?

The raised bottom/base inside the tube is simply to ensure the fill level looks a little more consistent across all blends.

We actually use the same size container for all of our superfood blends, and we don't use any emulsifiers, fillers or bulking agents. Since each powder contains a variety of ingredients, it is only natural that they will not all fill the container to the same level - even if they weigh the same amount!

To help explain this we have created a short video which you can find on our blog here. You'll find this under the section "What is the recommended serving size for each blend?"

My products are the same weight but have different fill levels, why?

Our blends each contain very different ingredients, therefore have different densities and will not fill the tube to the same level - even if they are the same weight!

For example, 50g chia seeds (Berry Beauty) would take up more space than 50g cacao powder (Coco Dream) as chia seeds are bulkier and larger in size. Cacao powder is very fine and less dense in comparison, so occupies less space.

The fill level of my product has changed since my last order, why?

We recently trialled some new packaging options, so you may have received the same product in the past - but in slightly different packaging.

We have since settled on a standardised tube design for all of our blends, but we are using up the previous stock to avoid unnecessary waste, so you may still notice some variations in the fill level for the same product(s).

Rest assured, this does not affect how much product you receive! You will always receive the correct amount of powder in grams (as stated on the website and packaging).

My product is not filled to the very top, why?

Once again we use the same size container for all of our superfood blends, and we don't use any emulsifiers, fillers or bulking agents. Due to this the powders will naturally settle over time, but this does not affect the weight of the product.

Our industrial scales are calibrated regularly throughout the day for consistency, and we also slightly overfill each tube for good measure. You will always receive the correct amount of powder in grams (as stated on the website and packaging).
